Simina Grigoriu stands as one of the foremost DJs in the Techno music scene. Currently collaborating with various artists, she tours globally with her live set. I was commissioned by Circulate Ltd., a digital record label, to craft her personal brand. The brief was crystal clear: to create a brand that is Edgy, bold, compact, and somewhat abstract, yet maintaining the readability of her name. The result is the emblem you see here, complemented by a monogram for use in small spaces or as a symbol.
The same logo, applied in different settings, generates a visual identity that mirrors Simina's music and visually represents her uniquely.
P.S. My preferred application is on a T-shirt; simply flipping the logo vertically transforms it into an electronic hieroglyph.
